Tom Meder
Tom began his insurance career in 1980 while attending Ohio State University earning a degree in Insurance & Risk Management. After graduating he began in an agency and eventually became agency owner and lead marketer. Tom enjoys working with his clients (many of which have become lifelong friends) attempting to fill their insurance needs. In his free time, he is a novice machinist working to build and restore old firearms. He also averages 3-4 boot camp workouts a week and is an avid walker and hiker. He loves spending time with his daughters and traveling to do so. He is a supporter of the Ohio Division of WildLife, Catholic Charities, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Pediatric Center. You will almost always find “Live Cam” open on his computer keeping tabs on the latest wildlife nests.

Kyle Scanlon
Kyle is husband to Lisa, father to Hayden and Shane along with being co-owner of Meder-Bush Insurance. In the past, Kyle was an executive chef at various restaurants and country clubs on the east side of Cleveland. After Kyle and Lisa added another onto their family they decided it was time for him to find another career that would allow him to see his family on nights and weekends. They chose to go into Lisa’s family business and take over her grandparents’ stake in the agency (Bob and Harriet Bush). Since then Kyle has been taking pride in finding his commercial and personal clients tailor-made coverages that fit all their needs at a great rate. Kyle looks forward to maintaining the great Legacy that Bob and Harriet have built in the agency.

Ellen Behm Dolphin
Ellen Behm DolphinEllen has been married for more than 30 years and is the mother of three and grandmother of one. Ellen started out working at Meder-Bush Insurance just to help out in the office 15 years ago when her youngest daughter went to grade school. After a few years she decided it was time to get her insurance license and has been working as an independent agent ever since. This enables her to give clients lots of options for their personal insurance. Ellen has been heard saying “God willing and the creek don’t rise, I’ll see you tomorrow” before leaving the office at the end of the day.

Often your mortgage is sold to another lending company or they will move their service office to another city. If you receive a notice from your lender that they need current insurance information, please contact us. You may either call our e-mail us with the information. Please provide us with the new address and the account or loan number and a phone/fax number so we may contact them.
The same thing often occurs with your auto loan or lease. Many times we speak to service representatives from another country so please provide us with all of the information on your notice so we can update our records and their records.
If a lender threatens you with “forced coverage” we can get this reversed simply by getting them current information so please contact us
